Opioid Spoon Project HONOR TOUR

Maryland Heroin Awareness Advocates are blessed with so many strong and powerful colleagues and our community members who support our efforts. Thank you to everyone who came out today to honor our loved ones whose lives were taken too soon.

"To this day I really struggle to understand how this all started, and more in particular when it's going to end, but I know that collectively we'll all make a difference … We've met so many remarkable people along the journey… and it's together that we're really going to start making a difference." – Domenic EspositoWe're so thankful that you've allowed us to commemorate your loved ones on Domenic's opioid spoon, and have entrusted us with the responsibility of sharing their stories. We're going to do everything possible to make sure that it's seen and creates awareness of the opioid epidemic on a national level.

Opioid Spoon Project

There were a lot of tears, pain and sadness for all of us today, but we also know that we have to raise awareness to keep the opioid crisis on the top of the list as it’s been ignored for way too long.

We need your voice and support to continue this uphill battle. Please, please, please reach out if you need help with your disease. There are so many different organizations who will help you at the drop of a hat. We will extend a compassionate, supportive, dedicated and loving hand, anytime day or night. Please don’t suffer in silence anymore.
